I had a great time meeting with quite a few of you at the the Meet the Candidates Night at Murray Park on July 21st.  I'm grateful to the Murray Chamber of Commerce for putting on this event. 

It was great to see the other candidates running for offices in Murray City and learn more about each of them and their ideas for Murray. Although we all may have different opinions on some issues, it is nice to know that each of us was there out of our love for Murray.

And now, because of this event, you all know that tacos are not my favorite food (hey, I'm honest), but I think Taco Tuesday is a terrific idea!  Just because I don't prefer tacos doesn't mean everyone else can't enjoy them.  Anything that brings our citizens together for a fun night is a good thing.  We need more ideas for events to bring us together!
